Finding your perfect Sofa Bed
Our British handmade sofa beds retain the style of our sofa range, combined with the versatility of a pull-out mattress. We have a wide range of double sofa bed designs, and many that are available in a large, 2.5 seater, and smaller loveseat sizes too. We also now make Coco in the USA for our Americana and Canadian customers
Choose between the luxurious deep-seated comfort of our Barton sofa bed (available only in the UK) or, where space is more limited, choose a more compact sofa bed, such as the Coco.
Unfortunately at the moment we are not offering sofa beds in the Cocobella but we are working on introducing these soon all things being well (please sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know about this)
As with all of our bespoke sofas, you can choose any fabric you want, be it a floral linen, a sumptuous velvet, or one of our smart stripes, creating a bespoke sofa bed that is as stylish as it is comfortable. Other Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to have the sofa made with a back that is detached for delivery and access as we have a tight staircase?
Yes, entirely possible, and we do it all the time. The workshop will build the sofa base so that it can be assembled on site, and the good news is that this does not need to cost the earth. To advise you on access into the room, please send us photos of the "journey" the sofa has to make. These can be emailed to sofas@sophieconran.com.
Do you offer a paid access survey to check access and size?
Not at present. But if we arrange a video call, or if you send us a video of the "journey" from your front door, we are very good at advising remotely.
What is the mattress made of?
We offer a fully sprung mattress, 130mm thick, and can also supply memory foam.
What are the cushions on the sofa bed filled with?
We can specify any cushion fill you like; this article outlines the options. For sofa beds we recommend 70/30 down fill for the softest seat. Because the seat base is not sprung, as it is on our regular sofas, the 70/30 gives the greatest comfort.
What is the price of the sofa bed?
It depends on the fabric and the size you choose. Do let us know if there are particular fabrics you have in mind that are not shown above and we will price it for you.
Is it possible to try out the sofa anywhere?
Our sofa beds are not yet available to view in retail stores, though we are working on it. If you would like to see our standard sofa selection, we can arrange an appointment at our show home in London. Please get in touch to book a time.
