A Coco is built around a solid birch frame, mortice-and-tenon jointed by hand. Each spring is hand-tied to the next, the way upholsterers have done it for two hundred years. The seat cushions are feather and down over a fibre core, which you re-plump with a shake. We also have entirely natural cushion fill options available. The whole thing is made in our workshop in North Carolina.

The loose-cover versions of our sofas allow the cover to be removed for cleaning. Plump the cushions weekly. Rotate seat cushions every couple of months so they wear evenly. Spills handled in the first ten minutes almost always come out. For the proper detail, the care guide covers every fabric in the range.

The hardwood frame is guaranteed for twenty-five years. Cushions and covers are covered for manufacturing defects for two years, but will last much, much longer with regular care: please follow our care instructions.
