How We Make Our Sofas

Sophie takes us inside the making of her sofas: handmade in the UK and the US by traditional methods and the most incredible craftspeople. Inside is a sustainably sourced hardwood frame fixed with glue, dowels and screws and guaranteed for 25 years, a fully sprung base and front that feel like a mattress under the cushions, and hand-done pleating and piping. Then the bespoke part: frames that split in two for tricky access, longer sofas, footrests and L-shapes, loose or fitted covers in your own fabric, cushion borders and fillings to your specification, and a render of your sofa in your fabric before you press the button.
