Setting the Table for Dinner (and Closing the Shutters)

Party dress on and friends coming for dinner: flowers gathered for the centre of the table, wonderful Portmeirion plates, colour through glassware and the lovely scalloped napkins (folded the way a friend taught her), joy added to a formal setting, and the answer to why there are no curtains: those wonderful old shutters.
