The Barton Sofa

Sophie shows you her Barton sofa, based on a design her dad created more than 40 years ago and updated with lovely cushions at the back. It still has that wonderful depth: take the back cushions off and it is deep enough to sleep on.

Choose big back cushions for a smarter look or a scatter back for something more relaxed. The seat cushions are feather wrap foam, so they need very little plumping, and the back cushions are 100% feather. Finish it with velvet piping and a box pleat or ruffle skirt, in any fabric you like.

It can be made with a split frame, so it comes apart to fit through narrow doors, and the covers are loose and removable. Every Barton is made by hand in the UK and the US. Questions? Email sofas@sophieconran.com.
